Life

Life, it can really get away from you.
It's been over six months since I last updated my blog post.

2011 for me seems to be a transitional period from undergraduate student to postgraduate student. From student, to worker. From dependant to independent.

I have partaken in a personal challenge for myself, a 365 day drawing challenge, a drawing for every day of the year. I am in the middle of a huge period of change, and I am enjoying every minute of it.

I will endeavour to upload and share more of what is happening lately, including a blog of my drawing challenge either in this blog - as the best of my drawing challenge, or a separate blog with all of my works. Keep a lookout.

Emma Julie

Photography: Miss Amy Elizabeth Rodd

A few months back a friend of mine asked if I was interested in a creative collaboration - a photo shoot for a business logo.

My business logo is now in it's last stages of being designed, and I am so excited to see the finished product.

To my absolute delight, my beautiful friend, Emma Julie, has gone above and beyond what I wanted. Soon I will be able to share with the world the wonderful design skills she has produced for my photography and illustration business Miss Amy Elizabeth.

Not only have I had the privilege of working with her, she has since been scooped up by one of the biggest Norwegian design firms in the world.

I'm sharing a few photos I took of her last year, the trade for the business logo, which has now turned into a corporate design. I must say I got the much better part of the deal.

Thank you so much Emma, I can't wait to show everyone what wonderful work you have created for me.

Doctor Xena

A friend of mine that I grew up officially graduated as a doctor last month.

We used to sleep in the cuby house and watch Xena at dinner time, fighting over who was Xena and who was Gabrielle. Now, whenever I look at Xena, I think of her.

I took a few photos of her before her graduation ball, which I am sharing on this blog. I think she looked beautiful.

My friend Xena, the beautiful doctor.
I'm really proud of her.
